
Guwahati, 31 August (HS): The Assam Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday organised a state-level training session at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan in Guwahati to chalk out the roadmap for the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, which will be held from September 17 to October 17, 2026.
The campaign is being organised in line with the nationwide observance to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25-year journey of public service, dedication and nation-building.
The training programme was held under the leadership of BJP Assam Pradesh President Dilip Saikia. BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh, North-East Co-Coordinator Rajeev Babbar, Assam Cabinet Minister Ranoj Pegu and State General Secretary (Organisation) Ravindra Raju attended the session. State General Secretary Anup Barman conducted the proceedings.
Several Assam ministers, MLAs, BJP state office-bearers and representatives from different districts participated in the training session.
The discussions focused on preparing the organisational framework and programme of action for the campaign and ensuring its effective implementation across Assam. Party leaders emphasised making the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ a meaningful public movement based on the principles of service, social responsibility, commitment and a nation-first approach.------------
