Chandrapur, 29 Aug (HS): A shepherd was killed in a

tiger attack in the Moharli Buffer Zone in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Project in Chandrapur district. The

shepherd, Vijay Madhukar Meshram (25) from Junona village died in the tiger attack

around 1 pm on Saturday.

The body was sent to Bhadrawati Rural Hospital for

post-mortem. Vijay’s mother Niranjana Madhukar Meshram was immediately given

financial support of Rs 50,000.
