New Delhi, 30 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday highlighted a website during his monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, that provides information on who ruled different parts of India during various periods of history.
In the 137th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Modi said that the website, bharatrajya.com, allows users to select a particular year and easily find out which ruler or power governed different parts of India during that period. He noted that the website has been designed in a simple and user-friendly manner.
During the programme, the Prime Minister also spoke over the phone with Krishna Sheshadri, who created the website. Sheshadri explained that although Indian history often focuses on a limited number of prominent rulers, the country's historical legacy is filled with numerous other heroes whose contributions also deserve recognition.
PM Modi's mention of the website during Mann Ki Baat brought attention to an initiative aimed at enabling people to explore India's political history across different periods and regions in a simple and accessible manner.
