Lucknow, 30 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

commemorated MSME Day by launching substantial welfare measures,

infrastructural projects, and financial assistance packages for young

entrepreneurs and craftsmen. The state government wants to develop 10 lakh new

MSME businesses and provide interest-free loans of up to Rs. 10 lakh to create

opportunities for 50 lakh youngsters.

Youth Adda Platform: Yuva Adda has launched in cities like as Lucknow and

Gorakhpur to provide mentoring, business advise, AI training, and skill

development under one roof.

CM-YUVA Scheme: The Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM-YUVA) is

being rolled out in phases, including financial aid, margin money help, and

mobile app integration for career advising.

Infrastructure and ODOP: The One District One Product (ODOP) Common Facility

Centers were inaugurated virtually, and toolkits and allotment letters were

sent to local craftsmen.

Economic Impact: Across Uttar Pradesh, over 96 lakh MSMEs employ more than

1.65 crore people and contribute for almost 46% of the state's total exports.

“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all entrepreneurs, artisans,

handicrafters, and all dedicated workers associated with micro, small, and

medium enterprises on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Day. In line with the

vision of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji's 'Vocal for Local'

and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat', the campaign to give global recognition to local

products is strengthening the economic power of 'New India'. In 'New Uttar

Pradesh', by promoting MSMEs, ODOP, and traditional industries, new dimensions

of employment, self-reliance, and prosperity are being established,” UP CM

mentioned in a post on X.
