New Delhi, 30 August (H.S.): Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday attended the two-day ‘Photo Video Asia 2026’ exhibition being held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, and said the younger generation was using cameras to take their stories to audiences across the world.

In a post on X, Sirsa said photography and videography had evolved beyond being merely artistic pursuits and had become significant avenues for creative expression and career opportunities for young people.

“From social media to cinema, digital media and content creation, today’s younger generation is taking its stories to the world through their cameras,” he said, while extending his best wishes to all those participating in the exhibition.

Sirsa said such events not only introduce participants to emerging technologies but also provide young talent with a platform to learn, experiment and establish their own identity in the rapidly evolving creative industry.

The exhibition is a major business-to-business platform for photographers, videographers, content creators and digital imaging professionals in India. More than 250 stalls have been set up at the event, showcasing the latest technologies and equipment, including advanced cameras, lenses, drones, lighting systems, studio equipment, artificial intelligence tools and editing software.

The exhibition provides industry professionals and aspiring creators an opportunity to explore emerging technologies, interact with industry stakeholders and gain exposure to the latest developments in photography, videography and digital imaging.
