Bhubaneswar, 03 August (H.S.): The Ganjam district administration has declared a comprehensive No-Flying Zone, including a complete ban on drones and other aerial platforms, ahead of the President of India’s visit to Odisha.

The restrictions will remain in force on August 4 and 5 along the President’s travel route from Brahmapur Railway Station to Taptapani, covering key stretches such as Gosaninugaon, Andhapasara Road, Haridakhandi, and Digapahandi Road. The no-fly directive also extends to the Taptapani Temple Complex, the Army Air Defence College at Golabandha, and adjoining areas.

Authorities have prohibited the operation of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, powered aircraft, paragliders, hot air balloons, and all other aerial devices during this period. Officials have warned that any violation will attract strict legal action under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Aircraft Act, Aircraft Rules, and the Drone Rules.

Security arrangements have been tightened across all locations to ensure a smooth and safe visit.
