Adityanath paid a heartfelt homage to the famous Hindi poet, 'Rashtra Kavi'

Maithili Sharan Gupt, on his 140th birthday. In his official statement, CM Yogi

emphasized that the poet's words will continue to encourage future generations

to follow the path of truth, sacrifice, and justice. He lauded the poet for

giving a timeless voice to patriotism, Indian culture, and human ideals. He

highlighted phrases that emphasized the spiritual and moral power gained from

ancient Indian knowledge.

CM Yogi Adityanath marked the poet's milestone anniversary,

recognizing his great contribution to national awakening and the dissemination

of Indian heritage via masterpieces such as Bharat-Bharati and Saket. Aligning

with the state government's push for cultural tourism, the Uttar Pradesh

Tourism Department unveiled a new strategy for the Jhansi division, which

includes a dedicated museum in Chirgaon, Jhansi (the poet's birthplace), to

preserve Maithili Sharan Gupt's heritage.

CM Yogi conducted an official courtesy visit at his Lucknow house with Dr.

Vaibhav Gupt, grandson of Maithili Sharan Gupt, to demonstrate his personal

commitment to upholding the poet's legacy. CM Yogi complimented the Padma

Bhushan laureate for immortalizing Hindi literature through patriotism, Indian

culture, and human emotions. He emphasized that the poet's writings will

continue to encourage future generations to walk the path of truth, sacrifice,

and morality.

“Our Upadesh Gita is the song of our battle alone, which

grants victory to people even in the battle of life. A humble tribute on the birth anniversary of

'Rashtrakavi', 'Padma Bhushan' Maithili Sharan Gupt, who gave Hindi literature

the immortal voice of patriotism, Indian culture, and human emotions. His words

will continue to inspire generations to walk the path of truth, sacrifice, and

honor,” stated UP CM in a post on X.
