Jaunpur, August 03 (HS): In Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, Minister of

State, Uttar Pradesh government, Girish Chandra Yadav, inaugurated seven

connecting roads constructed under the State Agricultural Produce Market

Council in the Sadar Assembly constituency on Monday. He said that the state

government is continuously working to strengthen infrastructure in rural areas

and expedite the completion of public welfare development schemes.

The

Minister of State stated that the construction of connectivity roads will

provide safe and easy transportation for villagers. Farmers, students, and the

general public will also directly benefit from this. He stated that the

government is committed to expanding roads, bridges, drinking water, and other

basic amenities in villages.

Among

the projects inaugurated, a 0.55-kilometer link road from the

Khetasarai-Didarganj road to Jaigaon was constructed at a cost of Rs. 19.77

lakh. A 0.50-kilometer road from the Gurani-Songar road to Gurani via

Yadav-Prajapati Basti was constructed at a cost of Rs. 14.80 lakh. A 0.40-kilometer link road from the

Japtapur-Bhudkuda Pitch Road to Lapri Canal was constructed at a cost of Rs.

40.12 lakh.

Similarly,

a 0.35 kilometer road from Meerapur-Mubarakpur road to Rajiv Yadav's house in

Pura Andhari village was constructed at a cost of Rs 12.11 lakh. A 0.50

kilometer link road from Jaunpur-Khuthan road to Chhataura was renovated at a

cost of Rs 15.70 lakh and a 0.45 kilometer road from Meerapur Pitch Road to

Gulaalpur on Jaunpur-Khuthan road was constructed at a cost of Rs 17.51 lakh.

On the Koiridiha-Malhani road, a 0.37 kilometer link road from Gram Sabha Jarge

Pitch Road to Arvind Yadav's house in Jersey was constructed at a cost of Rs

17.19 lakh.

The Minister of State stated that

strengthening rural connectivity will accelerate the region's development and

improve people's living standards. Regional public representatives, village

heads, and a large number of local citizens were present on the occasion.
