New Delhi, 03 August (H.S.): Gold and silver prices witnessed a marginal decline during early trading in the domestic bullion market on Monday, with both precious metals opening on a subdued note across major cities.

Following the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 144,210 and Rs 144,360 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 132,190 and Rs 132,340 per 10 grams.

Silver also registered a slight decline, with the metal trading at Rs 234,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 144,360 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 132,340 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 144,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 132,190 per 10 grams.

Ahmedabad recorded retail prices of Rs 144,260 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 132,240 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

Among other major cities, Chennai and Kolkata reported identical rates, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 144,210 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 132,190 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 144,260 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 132,240 per 10 grams.

Jaipur and Lucknow both recorded 24-carat gold prices of Rs 144,360 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold selling at Rs 132,340 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 144,260 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold traded at Rs 132,240 per 10 grams.

A similar trend was observed in southern and eastern markets. In Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 144,210 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 132,190 per 10 grams.

Market participants are closely monitoring global bullion trends and currency movements, which continue to influence domestic gold and silver prices.
