Deoria, 29 Aug (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has

arrived on stage at a program held in Barwa Tola, Majhauliraj, Salempur

Assembly constituency. Upon arriving, he was given a grand welcome by public

representatives and a large crowd present there. In addition to addressing the

public meeting, the Chief Minister is also announcing 80 development projects

worth Rs. 304.97 crore to the Bhatpar Rani and Salempur Assembly constituencies.

In the Deoria district, during the inauguration and

foundation stone laying program of various public welfare projects worth Rs. 305

crore in the Salempur and Bhatpar Rani Assembly constituencies, UP CM remarked,

“Encephalitis was more than just an illness; it was a diseased mentality. The

Samajwadi Party and Congress regimes at the time had a diseased mentality that

was eating innocent lives here while officials remained absolutely oblivious.

They remained mute; empathy had faded, and the innocent had suffered the price.

Over the last four decades, more than 50,000 innocent lives have been lost.

Neither the Chief Minister of the Samajwadi Party nor the Prime Minister of the

Congress visited here to assess the situation. They never came to inquire about

the well-being of the poor...a parallel mafia regime existed across the state.

Today, I can honestly state that UP has lived up to its name. Nobody refers to

UP as 'Bimaru' state anymore. No one is questioning Uttar Pradesh anymore. The

state now commands a respected image.”

District in-charge minister and Minister of State for

Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh, Agriculture Minister Surya

Pratap Shahi, State Minister Vijayalakshmi Gautam, Sadar MLA Dr. Shalabhmani

Tripathi, MLA Surendra Chaurasia, MLA Sabha Kumar, former MP Ravindra Kushwaha,

District Panchayat President and Administrator Pandit Girish Chandra Tripathi

and BJP District President Kali Prasad along with other public representatives

are present on the stage. The Chief Minister will gift a total of 80 projects.

These include the inauguration of 23 projects costing Rs 139.47 crore and the foundation

stone laying of 57 projects costing Rs 165.50 crore.

In a post on X, UP CM mentiomed, “From the land of grace of

the revered Devaraha Baba in Deoria to the sacred abode of penance of Mahayogi

Guru Shri Gorakhnath Ji in Gorakhpur, today the journey of good governance,

development, and public welfare will gain new momentum. In the Salem Pur and

Bhatpar Rani Assembly Constituencies of Deoria, 80 development projects worth Rs.

305 crore, along with the inauguration/foundation stone laying of 170

development projects costing over Rs. 130 crore in Gorakhpur, will be

dedicated, and the 'Kalyan Mandapam' in Basharatpur, Rapti Nagar, will be

devoted to public service. Public welfare for one and all, development in every

sector—this is the resolve of the double-engine government.”
