Thoubal (Manipur), 29 August (HS): A combined team of Thoubal District Police, 31 Assam Rifles and 46 Assam Rifles arrested an active member of the United National Liberation Front (Kangleipak) (UNLF-K) in Manipur’s Thoubal district, police informed on Saturday.

The arrested individual has been identified as Ngangom Gibbs Singh alias Pamel (29), son of Ng. Yaiskul Singh, a resident of Chingmeirong in Imphal East district.

According to the police, Singh was apprehended from Wangjing Bazar near Heirok Crossing, under Thoubal Police Station in Thoubal district. Further investigation and necessary legal action are underway.-----------
