Prayagraj, 29 Aug (HS): As part of National Sports Day celebrations, 16 UP

Battalion NCC organised inter-college and inter-school exhibition volleyball

matches under its Social Service and Community Development (SSCD) initiative. Teams

from RDBL College, LRLA Inter College and Patanjali Rishikul participated

enthusiastically in the matches. More than 100 students and NCC cadets

witnessed the event and encouraged the participating teams.

Patanjali Rishikul also organised cricket, volleyball, chess and sprint competitions

to promote physical fitness, sporting spirit and healthy competition among

students. New footballs were presented to the participating teams, and

refreshments were served to the players and attendees. The Commanding Officer,

16 UP Battalion NCC, and Nityanand Singh, Principal, Patanjali Rishikul,

interacted with the participants and encouraged them to make sports an integral

part of their lives. They highlighted the importance of sports in fostering

physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, resilience and all-round development,
