Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 29 Aug (HS): Robbers on

Samruddhi Mahamarg have caused fear among the travellers on the express

highway. The robbers spread nails and other sharp and pointed material on the

road to puncture the tyres of the vehicles and targeted three vehicles and looted

cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. The incident occurred near Chhatrapati

Sambhajinagar.

The gang of 10 to 12 robbers attacked three vehicles

and beat the travellers including children. Shocked by the sudden attack they

handed over cash and jewellery to save themselves of life-threatening attack. They

looted cash and jewellery worth Rs 18,09,500, including Rs 84,500 cash.
