Guwahati, 29 August (HS): Assam Police arrested three alleged drug dealers after recovering 379 grams of heroin valued at more than ₹3 crore during an intelligence-led operation, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a social media post.

According to the Chief Minister, the operation was carried out by the Special Task Force (STF), Assam. The three suspects have been apprehended and taken into custody for further legal action.

Dr Sarma reiterated that the state government's campaign against drugs would continue unabated.-----------
