Balrampur, 28 Aug (HS): This year, Rakshabandhan turned out

to be a memorable and historic occasion for four students of Adi-Shakti Maa

Pateshwari Public School, located in Tulsipur, Balrampur district, Uttar

Pradesh. Upon receiving a special invitation from Rashtrapati Bhavan, the

school students traveled to New Delhi and met President Draupadi Murmu, tying a

Rakhi on her wrist. The President spoke cordially with the students and blessed

them.

A press release from the school stated that Pragati Pathak

of Class 12, Harshita Yadav of Class 10, Prastuti Gupta of Class 12, and

Anushka Pandey of Class 9 arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The students were

accompanied by the school's Principal, Dr. DP Singh, and teacher Anita Gupta.

The students tied a Rakhi to the President and wished him a Happy

Rakshabandhan.

The students were filled with excitement and joy after

meeting the President. It is a matter of pride for the entire region that

schoolgirls from border and rural areas have the opportunity to meet the

President, who holds the highest constitutional office in the country, and tie

a sacred thread on her.

Before departing for Delhi, the students visited the

Shaktipeeth Devipatan Temple and received blessings from the head priest,

Mithilesh Nath Yogi. The group also worshipped the great yogi, Guru Gorakhnath,

at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur.

As soon as the news of their meeting with the President at

Rashtrapati Bhavan reached, a wave of joy spread through the Tulsipur area. The

school family, parents, and local residents congratulated and wished the

students on this proud achievement. Principal Dr. DP Singh said that this occasion

will be a lifelong memory for the students and is a matter of pride for the

school family and the entire district.
