Lucknow, 28 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

has conveyed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the state's

citizens on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. CM Yogi describes Raksha

Bandhan as a holy event that represents the unbreakable link of love, devotion,

and mutual trust between brothers and sisters. He hoped that the event would

bring good fortune, enhance social peace, and deepen the sense of community and

collaboration across society.

On this festive occasion, the Uttar Pradesh government granted free

transportation for ladies via UP Roadways busses. The free bus service is made

accessible starting at midnight on August 27 to midnight on August 29.

In a post on X, he mentioned, “Heartfelt congratulations and

best wishes to the people of the state on the sacred festival of Raksha

Bandhan, which embodies love, trust, traditions, and affection. Let us, on this

holy festival symbolizing the unbreakable bond of love between brother and

sister, all resolve to strengthen our eternal cultural heritage and family

values.”
