Prayagraj, 28 Aug (HS): The Om Jai Maa Vindhyavasini Pad

Yatra Committee organized a grand procession to commemorate the 42nd

birth anniversary of Maa Vindhyavasini. Committee President Neeraj Kesarwani

spoke on the occasion. After placing Mother Vindhyavasini Devi on a decorated

chariot, she was worshipped as per the rituals. The chief guest of the program,

Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, performed aarti and puja of Mother Vindhyavasini Devi,

and co-patron Rajesh Kesarwani inaugurated the procession by breaking a

coconut. The organizer of the procession, Ghanshyam Gupta, welcomed the guests

and pilgrims by dressing them in chunari.

The Shoma Yatra included DJ bands, drums, bhangra, religious

flags, and dozens of tableaux of Mother Vindhyavasini Devi. Devotees performed

aarti at various locations along the procession route. The procession departed

from Mutthiganj via Ram Bhavan, Kothaparcha, Baihrana, and Naini to Vindhyachal

Dham. Event organizers Ghanshyam Gupta, Brijesh Jaiswal, Rajesh Kesarwani, Ajay

Agrahari, Manish Jaiswal, Kishan Chandra Jaiswal, Rinku Jaiswal, Akash Jaiswal,

and hundreds of other pilgrims were present.
