Rakshabandhan celebrations held at Police Lines and party

office in Mutthiganj

Prayagraj, 28 Aug (HS): Industrial Development Minister of

Uttar Pradesh Government, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, like every year, celebrated

the festival of Rakshabandhan in a unique way this year also. A Rakshabandhan

celebration was held at the party office in Mutthiganj. Over 1,500 women BJP

officials, workers, and sisters from Prayagraj City South Assembly and various

other areas applied tilak and tied a Rakhi on Minister Nandi's wrist. While

participating in the Rakshabandhan celebration held at the Police Lines in

Prayagraj, he received a Rakhi from the law-protecting sisters, pledged to

protect their honor, and received their blessings.

Minister Nandi visited the Police Lines auditorium in

Prayagraj and had female police officers and constables tie Rakhi. To ensure

these female constables did not miss their homes and brothers on the occasion

of Rakshabandhan, Minister Nandi personally visited the Police Lines and had

Rakhi tied.

On this occasion, the female constables performed aarti for

Minister Nand Gopal. They applied tika and akshat to him, and then tied a rakhi

(a sacred thread) on him, seeking his blessings. In return, the minister wished

them a happy Rakshabandhan, a bright future, and presented them with a gift.

The joy on the faces of the female constables after tying rakhis to the

minister was clearly visible. At the party office in Mutthiganj, Minister Nandi

met with each sister, promising all possible support and presenting gifts.

During this time, many sisters shared their problems, and Minister Nandi

assured them that he would always stand by them as a brother.

Rule of law prevails under Yogi government, sisters feel

safe: Minister Nandi said that the rule of law prevails under the double-engine

government, where there is no place for goons and mafias. Today, sisters and

daughters feel safe leaving their homes. Strict action is being taken against

goons and criminals, so that sisters can leave their homes without fear.

The sisters said that Minister Nandi is a very simple and

down to earth person: The women said that Minister Nandi is a very simple and

down-to-earth person who respects people from all walks of life. Some women

have been tying Rakhi to Minister Nandi for years. All the women appeared

extremely happy during this meeting. Meanwhile, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi

assured them that they would face no problems and that he would fulfill his

duties as a brother.
