Lucknow, 28 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath praised the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), inaugurated

under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as a historic and

revolutionary move on its completion of 12 years. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan

Yojana (PMJDY) is a financial inclusion initiative of the Central Government

that is actively implemented in Uttar Pradesh by the government of Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath through different welfare packages and DBT (Direct

Benefit Transfer).

He penned a post on X, which reads as follows: “Heartfelt

congratulations to the fellow citizens of the country on the successful

completion of 12 years of the historic initiative of financial inclusion, the

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, under the visionary leadership of the Hon'ble

Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. This transformative scheme, which has

written a new chapter of economic empowerment by connecting the poor, deprived,

and the person standing in the last row to the banking system, is today

realizing the resolve of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka

Prayas'. In Uttar Pradesh, crores of citizens are benefiting from this public

welfare scheme and moving forward towards self-reliance and economic security.

This scheme is a strong cornerstone of the resolve for 'Viksit Bharat'.”
