Guwahati, 28 August (HS): Local residents of Kaziranga have strongly criticised the Congress for staging protests over the proposed Eco-Sensitive Zone around Kaziranga National Park.

They alleged that the Congress, which they accused of having failed to protect Kaziranga in the past, has no moral right to protest in the name of protecting the national park.

The residents warned that they would not remain silent if the Congress continued its agitation over the Eco-Sensitive Zone issue and issued a strong warning to the party against politicising the matter.----------
