
The much-awaited teaser of Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming film ‘Last Man in Tower’ has been released, offering a glimpse into its intense and socially relevant narrative. Directed by Ben Rekhi, the film is based on acclaimed author Aravind Adiga’s novel of the same name. Actor Rana Daggubati is producing the film under his production banner Spirit Media. Established in 2025, the production house is making its first Hindi feature film with this project. Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in ‘Governor: The Silent Savior’.
In the teaser, Bajpayee portrays a retired schoolteacher. The clip opens with his character standing on the roof of his school and saying, “A person cannot be defined merely by what society or the people around him know about him.” The teaser then offers glimpses of the conflict between his character and members of his community, hinting at the film’s serious and socially driven subject.
Alongside Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta and Boman Irani will be seen in pivotal roles. The story follows a man who decides to stand up against the people around him and the social system in which he lives.
‘Last Man in Tower’ is scheduled to hit theatres on September 11. The film will clash at the box office with Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Haivaan’.
