5 DTH channels of PM e-Vidya made available on YouTube,

students from Bal Vatika to Class 12 will benefit

Class-wise arrangement from Channel 173 to 177, facility to

revise lessons at home

Lucknow, 27 Aug (HS): Extending education beyond the school

walls to every child is a key component of the Yogi government's digital

education policy. Toward this end, five DTH channels of PM e-Vidya for Uttar

Pradesh have also been made available on YouTube. This allows students from Bal

Vatika to Grade 12 to access educational content relevant to their grade at

home and revise lessons as needed.

Sandeep Singh said, Our government has set a goal of providing quality

education to every child through technology. Making PM e-Vidya's class-wise

channels available on YouTube has provided students with a convenient opportunity

to learn and revise their studies from the comfort of their homes.

In Uttar Pradesh, under the State Council of Educational

Research and Training's (SCERT UP) digital education system, class-wise

educational materials are being delivered to students through PM e-Vidya

channels. Availability on YouTube along with DTH allows students, teachers, and

parents to access these educational resources at their convenience.

Educational content is available for students from Bal

Vatika to Class 2 on Channel 173, for classes 3 to 5 on Channel 174, for

classes 6 to 8 on Channel 175, for classes 9 to 10 on Channel 176, and for

classes 11 to 12 on Channel 177. The class-wise arrangement allows students

easy access to content relevant to their class. With the content of these PM

e-Vidya channels now also available on YouTube, students have an additional

digital medium for studies. The facility to subscribe to the channels for free

is also available.

Dr. Pawan Sachan, Joint Director, SCERT, said that linking

SCERT UP's PM e-Vidya channels to YouTube has expanded the reach of digital

educational content. Students can easily access educational content by

connecting to the relevant channel for their class.
