New Delhi, 26 August (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and several Union ministers extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. Recalling the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, they called for strengthening peace, compassion, mutual respect, brotherhood and communal harmony.

President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her greetings to the people of the country, particularly members of the Muslim community, on Eid Milad-un-Nabi. She said the occasion provides an opportunity to remember the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which inspire people to embrace righteous conduct and a sense of duty. She urged everyone to draw guidance from the noble principles of his life and play an active role in building an inclusive and progressive India.

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, in his greetings on Milad-un-Nabi, said the sacred occasion should inspire people to uphold the values of compassion, harmony and mutual respect and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. He wished everyone peace, happiness and prosperity.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also extended greetings on Eid Milad-un-Nabi and expressed hope that the spirit of peace, harmony and unity would be further strengthened across the country.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi would bring peace and prosperity to everyone. He expressed hope that the spirit of mutual harmony and compassion in society would grow stronger.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad serve as a reminder of timeless values such as compassion, peace and justice. He expressed hope that the occasion would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and inspire the creation of a society based on mutual respect and communal harmony.

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi extended his greetings on Eid Milad-un-Nabi and wished everyone peace, happiness, prosperity and good health.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also conveyed his greetings on Eid Milad-un-Nabi, saying that the festival would bring happiness, peace, prosperity and joy into people’s lives.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended his greetings on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi and prayed that the sacred occasion would bring happiness into people’s lives, strengthen brotherhood across the country and bring progress and prosperity to every family.
