Lucknow, 25 Aug (HS): In a program organized in Lucknow for

the distribution of appointment letters to the newly selected 3,446 Technical

Assistants and 126 Market Secretaries for the Agriculture Department, Uttar

Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that UP does not just have the

capacity to feed 25 crore people, it has the capacity to feed 140 crore people

of India. “There is no shortage of sugar in UP. Between 2007 and 2017, the then

Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party governments had closed 29 sugar mills.

21 sugar mills had been sold off at throwaway prices. Today, we are running 122

sugar mills. We should have a feeling of respect in our hearts towards the

farmer, the provider of food; if there is a feeling of respect, then the state will

progress,” he stated.

“Today, the world is demanding the youth of UP; this

situation did not exist before the year 2017. Previous governments used to toy

with the future of the youth. Curfew, riots, disturbances, corruption, these had

become the identity of UP,” he remarked.

“56 lakh children appear in the UP Board exam, exam in 14

days, results in 14 days. We have made secondary education transparent and free

from cheating. Within the next 6 months, we will provide appointment letters

for government jobs to 1 lakh young people. Our government has provided

government jobs to more than 9 lakh 30 thousand youth in the last nine and a

half years,” he mentioned.

“Inspired by the esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi

ji, under the 'Mission Employment' initiative, the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate

Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) today provided appointment letters to

3,446 newly selected Technical Assistants (Group-C) for the Agriculture

Department and 126 Mandi Secretaries of Category-3, Class-2 for the Mandi

Parishad. When we select the most deserving candidates without any

discrimination, the benefit of their talent and energy reaches the entire

state. This is one of the major achievements of the double-engine government

over the past nine and a half years.

stated in a post on X.
