Lucknow, 25 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath took photographs with young appointment letter recipients after the

distribution event on Tuesday. After finishing his speech at the appointment

letter distribution session, CM Yogi chatted with the young people in attendance

and posed for photographs at their request. During the ceremony, the Chief

Minister said that his government intends to give government jobs to 100,000

young people over the next six months. I want to tell the youth that during the

next six months—please take notice of this—we will send government appointment

letters to 100,000 young people, issued in batches every week, he remarked.

He further stated that during the last nine and a half

years, the government has created over 930,000 government positions in Uttar

Pradesh, and that no appointment has been questioned during this time.

CM Yogi criticized the recruiting procedure previous to

2017, claiming it was tainted by corruption and political influence. From the

start, we vowed to disrupt the pre-2017 habit of issuing recruitment

advertising just for the 'uncle-nephew combination' and complete

'Mahabharata-style clan' to spread over the state for extortion, he added.

The Chief Minister emphasized that youngsters should be picked based on merit and

without prejudice, saying, We must remember that when we select the most

deserving candidates without discrimination, the entire state benefits.

The state has harnessed their skill and energy—a crucial success of the

'double-engine' Bharatiya Janata Party government during the last nine and a

half years.

The CM further stated that the government has a zero-tolerance stance toward

crime and would take action against anyone who engage in cheating and

malpractice. We will guarantee that their kingpins suffer serious penalties, he

stated.

Regarding sugar supply, the Chief Minister denied

accusations of a shortfall in the state, noting that Uttar Pradesh now has

roughly 2.8 million tons of sugar on hand, compared to 400,000 tons consumed

monthly. He stated that sugar mills would begin operations on October 15.

In terms of international work chances, he named Japan, Germany, and Israel as

recruiting nations for UP graduates. He stated that over 5,000 adolescents from

the state had been flown to Israel and were earning around Rs 1.5 lakh per

month, in addition to free food and lodging.

CM Yogi compared the current circumstances with conditions prior to 2017,

claiming that youth faced unemployment and migration, while farmers and

businessmen struggled.

The appointment letter distribution ceremony ended with the CM engaging

personally with newly appointed youngsters, who wanted photographs with him.
