New Delhi, 25 August (H.S.): Gold prices continued to move higher during early trading in the bullion market on Tuesday, while silver rates remained unchanged. Gold prices rose by Rs 820 to Rs 900 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Following the increase, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,980 to Rs 1,64,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 1,50,310 and Rs 1,50,460 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,59,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,64,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,50,460 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,980 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,50,310 per 10 grams. Similarly, the retail price of 24-carat gold in Ahmedabad stood at Rs 1,64,030 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,50,360 per 10 grams.

Among other major cities, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,980 per 10 grams in Chennai, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,50,310 per 10 grams. Like other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed an upward trend in gold prices during early trading. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,980 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,50,310 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
