Dibrugarh (Assam), 24 August (HS): A fatal road accident occurred on the Bokpara Bypass in Dibrugarh, Assam, leaving one person dead and three others, including a woman and a child, seriously injured.

The accident involved a Maruti 800, a CNG auto-rickshaw and a scooter. The driver of the auto-rickshaw, identified as Dharmakanta Gogoi of Rajgarh, killed on the spot.

A woman travelling in the auto-rickshaw sustained critical injuries. The driver of the Maruti vehicle and a girl child seated in the front seat were also seriously injured. The injured were rushed for medical treatment, while further details of the accident are awaited.-----------
