Lucknow, 24 Aug (HS): During Janata Darshan in Uttar

Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath listened to public complaints and

authorized the animal husbandry department to send stray/destitute cows to a

woman wanting to increase her dairy-based self-reliance through state welfare

programs. A woman from Sitapur wanted more cows to supplement her current herd

of five, with the goal of increasing her income through cow farming. Yogi

Adityanath directed the Additional Chief Secretary of Livestock to offer assistance

and allot cows via the Chief Minister Sahbhagita Yojana. The Chief Minister

praised the recipient, highlighting the cultural and spiritual importance of

committed cow service (gau seva). Officials were directed to address both land

encroachment and administrative objections expressed by other residents during

the public meeting.

Poonam Devi, a resident of Gurudev Nagar Hargaon in Sitapur

district of Uttar Pradesh, met the Chief Minister during 'Janata Darshan' on

Monday and expressed her desire to raise cattle. The Chief Minister immediately

considered her demands and directed the Additional Chief Secretary (Animal

Husbandry) to provide her with stray cows and the benefits of various schemes

as per the rules. Meanwhile, a disabled person also complained about illegal

encroachment. The Chief Minister ordered an investigation and resolution of the

matter.

In her application to the Chief Minister, Poonam Devi wrote

that she wanted to become self-reliant by raising cattle. She currently owns

five cows and has enough space to house more. She requested that she be

provided with more cows, so she could enrich her family by selling milk. The

Chief Minister immediately directed the Additional Chief Secretary (Livestock)

to provide her with a destitute cow and financial assistance for her cattle

care under the Chief Minister's Participation Scheme.

Serve cows, obstacles and troubles will disappear: In

'Janata Darshan' the Chief Minister inquired about the well being of everyone

one by one, then asked about their problems as well. After reading Poonam's

application the Chief Minister also encouraged her. The Chief Minister told

Poonam that we will provide you the benefits of the schemes as per the rules

from the government. You should do cow service because 33 crore gods reside in

the cow. The Chief Minister shared his experience with her that you should do

cow service with all your heart, all the obstacles and troubles will go away.

Poonam also expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for fulfilling her

wish in the month of Shravan.

A disabled person who arrived at the Janata

Darshan informed the Chief Minister that someone had encroached upon his

land. The Chief Minister ordered an investigation and provided all possible

assistance to the victim. Furthermore, CM Yogi directed the timely resolution

of the problems of people who had come from other districts of the state.
