
Tinsukia (Assam), 24 August (HS): Panic gripped Bagjan in Assam’s Tinsukia district after gas began leaking continuously from a pipeline, creating a potentially dangerous situation in the area.
The gas leak occurred in front of Rupkonwar National School at Bagjan, raising concerns among local residents. According to preliminary information, the pipeline was allegedly cut by miscreants attempting to steal crude oil during the night, resulting in the gas leakage.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel, along with Bagjan Police, have reached the spot and are maintaining a close watch on the situation. Authorities are taking necessary measures to prevent any untoward incident.-----------
