
New Delhi, 24 August (H.S.): The bullion market witnessed a marginal decline during early trading on Monday, with both gold and silver registering a slight dip in prices. Following the change, 24-carat gold was trading at between Rs 1,63,080 and Rs 1,63,230 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was selling in the range of Rs 1,49,490 to Rs 1,49,640 per 10 grams. Silver also registered a marginal decline and was trading at Rs 2,59,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,230 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,49,640 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,63,080 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,49,490 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,63,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,49,540 per 10 grams.
Among other major cities, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,63,080 per 10 grams in Chennai, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,49,490 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,080 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,49,490 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,63,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,49,540 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,230 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,49,640 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,63,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,49,540 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,63,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,49,640 per 10 grams.
Similar marginal weakness was also recorded in gold prices across bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,63,080 per 10 grams. Likewise, 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,49,490 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
