Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Awarapan 2’ continues to deliver a strong performance at the box office, maintaining its momentum through its second weekend. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol’s ‘Batwara 1947’, which released in theatres alongside the film, is struggling to attract audiences, with its collections showing little improvement over the weekend.

Awarapan 2 Crosses Rs 136 Crore in 10 Days

According to Sacnilk, ‘Awarapan 2’ recorded a net domestic collection of Rs 8.75 crore on Sunday, its 10th day in theatres. The film had earned Rs 8.25 crore on Saturday. With this, its net collection in India over 10 days has reached Rs 136.25 crore.

The film’s gross domestic collection stands at Rs 162.50 crore, while its worldwide gross has climbed to Rs 192.80 crore.

Batwara 1947 Continues to Struggle

Sunny Deol’s ‘Batwara 1947’ continues to face a challenging run at the box office. The film collected only Rs 1.30 crore on Sunday, its 10th day, compared with Rs 1.15 crore on Saturday.

Its total net domestic collection has now reached Rs 36.80 crore, while its worldwide earnings stand at around Rs 52.52 crore.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, ‘Batwara 1947’ also features Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal and Karan Deol in key roles.
