Lucknow, 23 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath, fulfilling his responsibility as a brother, gave four big gifts to
3.54 lakh cook sisters before Rakshabandhan. The Chief Minister announced this
on Sunday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. He said that cook mothers and sisters
will now get honorarium of Rs. 3,000 instead of Rs. 2,000, in case of any
incident or accident, the cooks and their families will get assistance of Rs. 2
lakh through State Bank of India and free cashless facility up to Rs. 5 lakh
per year. Apart from this, the amount given for clothing has also been doubled,
i.e., from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000.
Keep the kitchen clean and provide nutritious food to
children: The Chief Minister cautioned the cooks and said that there should be
no negligence in this. There should not be any food poisoning. The enemy should
not do such a thing that brings you under suspicion. Lizards and insects should
not fall into the food, it would be playing with life. No outsider should enter
the kitchen while cooking. Millets, local dishes, seasonal fruits are also
included in the six-day menu under PM Poshan Mission. Different types of food
are to be given to the children on different days. The kitchen in the school
should be clean, provide nutritious food to the children on time with
cleanliness as per the weekly menu. This will increase your respect.
The government will solve all the problems: Yogi said that
nine years ago, the honorarium for cooks was a thousand rupees, and sometimes
they received it, sometimes they didn't. To stop the plundering of the rights
of the poor by the Samajwadi Party and Congress, PM Modi opened Jan Dhan
accounts for 55 crore people. Now, funds are deposited directly into their
accounts through DBT. Until now, there was no social security guarantee for
cooks. In the event of an accident, disaster, complete disability, or death,
their families were left helpless. The Basic Education Council negotiated with
the State Bank of India and ensured that an account would be opened with SBI,
into which the cooks' full honorarium would be deposited. In case of any
untoward incident, the bank would immediately provide an amount of two lakh
rupees. Trust the BJP's double engine; the government will solve all problems.
You make childhood healthy, your health is our
responsibility: The Chief Minister said that the kitchen is not just a food
that fills a child's stomach, but also a campaign to make childhood healthy and
capable. You make the nation's childhood healthy, but there was no concern for
your own health. Prime Minister Modi freed you from smoke. The state government
has also ensured that if a cook or a member of his family falls ill, they can
seek treatment at any empanelled hospital, including government hospitals. The
government will provide insurance of Rs 5 lakh per year for this.
Taking a dig at 'Babua', Yogi said - the public will clean
up the SP -- The Chief Minister said that this work wasn't done before because
the poor were never on the SP's agenda. Taking a dig at SP chief Akhilesh
Yadav's statement, he said, Babua has stated that everyone in his family
is MP, which is why the SP remains a party. We are saying that the public will
wipe out the SP forever in the next election because these people exploited the
poor for the sake of their families. They had turned Uttar Pradesh into a state
of goons. They used to grab land and compromise the safety of daughters. Riots
were a daily occurrence. Joy was snatched away before festivals. Development
was stalled because the state had nothing. Now, if anyone compromises the
safety of a daughter, they are sure to go to Yamaraj's house. SP members used
to even organize robberies of children's mid-day meals. Now that Uttar Pradesh
is riot- and curfew-free, development is visible. Those who could not do
anything are simply making accusations.
