On the occasion of actor Teja Sajja’s birthday, the much-awaited sequel to his popular film Zombie Reddy has been officially announced. People Media Factory has titled the sequel Zombie Reddy Next Level. Following the success of the first film, the franchise is set to return on a much larger scale.

In the released glimpse, Teja Sajja is seen standing alone against a massive swarm of zombies, offering a glimpse of the film’s grand scale and high-octane action. Real Star Upendra will play a key role in the film, while Shanaya Kapoor will make her debut in South Indian cinema with the project.

Zombie Reddy Next Level will be directed by Supreeth S. Varma, while the story and original concept for the franchise have been created by Prasanth Varma. The screenplay has been jointly written by Hussain Dalal, Prasanth Varma and Supreeth S. Varma.

The film’s music will be composed by Gaurahari, who is known for his work on projects such as HanuMan and Mirai. Produced on a grand scale by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, the zombie action-comedy will blend action, adventure and humour. The film is set in a world overrun by zombies, with Teja’s character taking on the challenge of fighting them.

The film is planned for a worldwide release in seven languages — Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Nepali and Japanese — with the aim of reaching audiences internationally.

Calling the sequel a special project, Teja Sajja said the love and appreciation received by Zombie Reddy had given the team the confidence to expand its world on a much larger scale.

Director Supreeth S. Varma said his objective was to create a cinematic experience that would be more chaotic, grand and thrilling than its predecessor.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad said the film aims to take Indian commercial cinema to the global stage on a larger scale.

Zombie Reddy Next Level is currently scheduled for release in 2027.
