Jammu, 23 August (H.S.): Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Udhampur Police detained one notorious drug peddler namely Uttam Kumar son of Kartar Chand of Mand, Udhampur under the provisions of the PIT-NDPS Act.

The detention order issued by the competent authority was executed today and the detenue has been lodged in District Jail, Bhaderwah, Doda.

Udhampur Police remains committed to eradicating the drug menace and ensuring a drug-free society.
