Guwahati, 23 August (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday lauded India’s achievements in space research and exploration, describing the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon as a historic milestone for the country’s scientific and technological progress.

In a social media post on the occasion of National Space Day, Sarma paid tribute to the scientists and researchers whose contributions have strengthened India’s position on the global space map.

He said achievements such as Chandrayaan-3 have demonstrated India’s capabilities in space exploration and brought the country international recognition.

The Chief Minister expressed hope that India’s continuing accomplishments in the space sector would inspire the younger generation to pursue science, technology and innovation and contribute to the country’s journey of progress.-----------
