Violation of Food Safety Rules

Mumbai, 22 Aug (HS): the Licenses and Registration of 13 food serving establishments

in the state have been cancelled by the Food and Drug Administration, for

violation of Food Safety rules.

The establishments include Bombay Presidency Radio Club, Colaba, Mumbai;

MacDonald’s, Malad and Nowara, Status Restaurant, Nariman Ponint in Mumbai;

Bajrang Sweet Mart, Santacruz; ASM Hotels and Hospitality Sevices, Andheri West

in Mumbai; Two Brothers Shawarma, Nagpur; Avanti Snacks, Nashik; Pintu Yadav

Sweets, Amravati; Chhappan Bhog Thali Restaurant in Sambahjinagar and Parbhani;

Mharo Gayatri Mewad Pvt Ltd and Star Bakery in Parbhani.

The FDA officials during inspection found blatant violation of Food

Safety rules including cleanliness in kitchen and freshness of food items

served.
