New Delhi, 22 August (H.S.): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters will host a series of important meetings throughout the day on organisational matters and upcoming programmes. Three key meetings will be held under the chairmanship of BJP president Nitin Nabin, focusing on the introduction of the new team, organisational strategy and preparations for a campaign to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life.

The day-long schedule began with an introductory meeting of the newly appointed office-bearers at the BJP headquarters. Nitin Nabin is holding his first introductory meeting with his newly constituted team. The meeting began with the singing of the national song, Vande Mataram.

The meeting is being attended by 65 newly appointed members along with existing office-bearers. The participants will be briefed about their respective responsibilities and roles within the organisation. National general secretary Smriti Irani, vice-president Vasundhara Raje, general secretary Sandeep Pathak and secretary Kavita Patidar were among those present at the meeting. Senior leaders Saudan Singh, Tarun Chugh, Satish Poonia and Vinod Tawde also attended.

Another key meeting will focus on the proposed “Modi 25” campaign to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life. The meeting will finalise the strategy for programmes to be organised across the country. The BJP president, chief ministers of various states, Union and state ministers, and senior party leaders are expected to participate.

Later in the evening, at around 6 p.m., BJP president Nitin Nabin will hold a meeting with state presidents, senior organisational leaders and ministers. The meeting will review organisational activities, upcoming programmes and the party’s preparations in various states, besides deliberating on the future strategy.
