Ratnagiri, 22 Aug (HS): The Maharashtra Government has announced state-level

contest for public Ganesh Utsav Mandals. The Mandals must be registered with

the district authorities. The online application for participation in the

contest should be made before September 7, 2026.

The

registration can be made on Pu La Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Akademy’s

ganeshotsav.pidmka.co.in website.

The

Tehsil-level prizes will be of Rs 25,000 and at the District-level Rs 50,000,

Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000.

Evaluation

will be made in protection and promotion of art, culture, eco-friendly,

protection of public property, social work and constructive work by the mandal.

The Mandal’s work during the last one year will be considered for evaluation.
