New Delhi, 22 August (H.S.):
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct a re-examination for 49 candidates who were unable to complete the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 due to a power outage at an examination centre in Jaipur on Saturday. The re-examination will be held on September 1 at 10 am at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur.
According to the NTA, a total of 36,979 candidates were registered for Shift 1 of AIAPGET-2026. Of these, 35,837 candidates appeared for the examination at 200 centres across the country, while 35,788 candidates were able to complete the test.
At the Shri Satya Sai PG College examination centre in Jaipur, 192 candidates appeared for the examination. However, a disruption in power supply prevented 49 candidates from completing their test. The NTA said the power-related issue was associated with the examination-conducting agency, M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
The NTA expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to all affected candidates who could not complete their examination. The agency said revised admit cards would be issued to the concerned candidates for the re-examination, containing details of the examination centre and other necessary information.
Candidates seeking further information or clarification may contact the NTA through its helpline numbers, 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. They may also send their queries by email to [aiapget@nta.ac.in](mailto:aiapget@nta.ac.in).
