Lucknow, 21 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister
Keshav Prasad Maurya on Friday paid humble tribute to former Chief Minister of
Uttar Pradesh and former Governor of Rajasthan, 'Padma Vibhushan' awardee
Kalyan Singh 'Babuji' by garlanding and offering flowers on his portrait at his
official residence, 7 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow on his death anniversary. On this
occasion, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the entire life of revered Kalyan
Singh is an inspiring example of unwavering dedication to national service,
public welfare, and cultural self-respect. His ideals and thoughts will always
guide us.
Taking aim at the opposition, the Deputy Chief Minister said
that when it comes to opposing nationalism and garnering votes through
appeasement, both the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP) are not shy of
diving into the same pool. They are each a match for compromising the nation's
self-respect.
Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Congress is averse to the
national anthem 'Vande Mataram'. At the same time, Samajwadi Party is singing
the tune that if its government is formed, it will make its Muslim leader
Turram Khan, who has been calling Bharat Mata a witch, the Home Minister. When
Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about a developed India, both the parties
turn a deaf ear and go to sleep. Both the parties should understand that until
the resolution of a developed India is fulfilled in 2047, the public is neither
going to hand over power to SP in Uttar Pradesh nor the reins of the country to
Congress. Under the able leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
the double engine government is taking the country and the state forward on the
path of progress at double the day and quadruple the night.
Modi's honest leadership is dedicated to development,
security, good governance, and the welfare of the poor. The public needs people
who build the nation, not those who loot. They want people who bring
development, not those who incite riots and appeasement. Congress is Saapnath,
and the SP is Nagnath. It is the BJP's national duty to protect the
public from them.
