
Mumbai, 21 Aug (HS):
A driver working for about 25 years at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Airport, Mumbai, committed suicide on Thursday by jumping from KP 10 Leval. The
deceased has been identified as Pramod Gangaram Jadhav (53) and was suffering
from Kidney related health problems for the last six months.
Airport Police
recovered Jadhav’s body and referred it to a hospital for the post-mortem.
Jadhav left home around 8.30 am on Thursday and
reached the Airport at around 10 am. He jumped from the KP 10 Level of the
airport at 11.40 am and succumbed to the injuries on the spot. Jadhav’s family
members told police that he was suffering from kidney ailment and was being
treated.
Police have initiated enquiry into the case after
registering a case of accidental death.
