
Hooghly, 20 August (H.S.): An MLA Service Centre was inaugurated in Arambagh on Thursday with the aim of addressing the problems and requirements of local residents and facilitating access to various civic services more efficiently.
West Bengal Minister Sumana Sarkar formally inaugurated the service centre in the presence of Goghhat MLA Prashanta Digar, Pursurah MLA Biman Ghosh and other dignitaries.
A blood donation camp was also organised to mark the inauguration. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, with several people coming forward to donate blood. The dignitaries present at the event encouraged the donors and called for greater participation in such humanitarian initiatives.
The organisers expressed hope that the MLA Service Centre would strengthen efforts to listen to the concerns of residents and provide assistance in addressing their problems.
The new centre has begun its journey with the message of “For the people, with the people,” with the aim of remaining accessible to residents and helping them with their civic and administrative concerns.
