New Delhi, 20 August (H.S.):

India on Thursday dispatched a fresh consignment of essential medicines and medical supplies to Afghanistan as part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance. The assistance has been handed over to a government hospital in Kabul.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the initiative reaffirms India’s long-standing and robust healthcare partnership with the people of Afghanistan. The primary objective of the assistance is to strengthen Afghanistan’s healthcare system and help provide basic medical facilities to local communities.
