Bhubaneswar, 20 August (H.S.): The Odisha unit of the BJP has taken disciplinary action against Prakash Paswan of Rourkela for alleged indiscipline and violation of party discipline.

In a statement, Sudarshan Nayak, State Convener of the Disciplinary Committee, said Paswan has been suspended from the party following directions from State President Manmohan Samal.

The action was taken in view of his alleged involvement in activities and conduct considered contrary to party discipline, the statement said.
