Domestic bullion markets witnessed a downward trend during early trading on Thursday, with gold prices declining by Rs 870 to Rs 940 per 10 grams across most major markets in the country. Silver prices also fell by up to Rs 5,000 per kilogram.
Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,54,960 and Rs 1,55,110 per 10 grams in most bullion markets, while 22-carat gold was quoted between Rs 1,42,040 and Rs 1,42,190 per 10 grams. Silver, meanwhile, was trading at Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,110 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,190 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,54,960 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams. Similarly, the retail price of 24-carat gold in Ahmedabad stood at Rs 1,55,010 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,42,090 per 10 grams.
Among other major cities, 24-carat gold in Chennai was trading at Rs 1,54,960 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was also priced at Rs 1,54,960 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,010 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,090 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,110 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,190 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,010 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,090 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,55,110 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,190 per 10 grams.
Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed weakness during early trading. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,54,960 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,42,040 per 10 grams.
