
Prayagraj, August 02 (HS): On the 17th of Safar month, the
procession established by late Zaheer Hussain Sahib eighty-nine years ago from
the Imambara of late Sabir Hussain situated in front of Rani Mandi Dharamshala
was taken out with devotion and respect to Imam Raza. Zaighum Abbas recited the
Purdard Marsiya, while Zakire Ahlebait Raza Abbas Zaidi remembered the
martyrdom of Imam Musa Raza. Qazim Abbas, Ahmed Javed, Aijaz Hussain, Zargam
Haider, Baqir Abbas recited the ancient Noha recited by the late Zahir Hussain.
The Shabih-e-Taboot of Imam Raza, the Alam and Zuljanah were decorated with
rose and jasmine flowers and taken out for the pilgrimage. The Noha singers of
Anjuman Guncha-e-Qasimiya Bakshi Bazaar, Neyazul Hasan, Hashim Bandvi, Syed
Haider Mehndi, Baqir Raza (Faiz), Jibran Rizvi, Alamdar Hasnain, Abid Hussain,
Nazir Hussain, Mirza Shiraz, Mirza Rahib, Kaifi etc. recited the Purdard Noha.
The procession, patrolling the streets of Rani Mandi, concluded late at night
at the Imambargah of the late Maqsad Ali in Koftgran Tola. Those in attendance
included Aijaz Hussain, Waqar Hussain, Kazim Abbas, Ahmed Javed 'Kajjan',
Hussain Raza, Mirza Azad Hussain, Syed Mohammad Askari, Zargham Haider, Shajeeh
Abbas, Faiz Raza, Asghar Ali, Mohammad Raza, Zaigam Abbas Naqvi, Najmul Hasan,
Hasan Tiger, and others.
The Chehlum procession of Hazrat Imam Hussain will be held
on Tuesday. The mourning ceremony will be held from Kotwali to Nakhas Kohna. As
the day of Chehlum for Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and 71 other martyrs
approaches, the period of mourning processions and Shabbedari is in full swing.
Ten-day and annual majlis, some for men and others for women, are being held in
all Muslim-dominated areas, including Kareli, Karelabagh, Bakshi Bazaar, Rani
Mandi, Dariyabad. On Tuesday, August 4, the Chehlum procession will be taken
out from Rani Mandi Imambargah Azam Hussain at 9 am, which will proceed to
Karbala in Chakia via Rani Mandi, Bachha Ji Dharamshala, Kotwali, Nakhas Kohna,
Khuldabad, Himmatganj.
In this procession, mourning associations will conduct the
mourning ceremony of chains and knives (Qama) equipped with sharp knives from
Kotwali to Nakhas Kohna. Some young people also participated in the procession,
mourning the bloodless chains. Anjuman Hussainia Qadeem, Anjuman Shabbiria,
Anjuman Abbasia will be participating in the procession. Anjuman Abidiya will
also take out its traditional procession along with Anjuman Mazlumia and
Anjuman Haideria, which will go to Karbala mourning with chains. The second big
procession will be taken out from Dariyabad Imambara Salwat Ali Khan at 5 pm
under the patronage of Tahir Malik, which will proceed from Baluwaghat
intersection, Sulaki intersection Bahadurganj, Loknath intersection Kotwali,
turning to Chadha Road, stopping at Ranimandi Imambara, and again via
Attarsuiya, will reach Dariyabad Imambara Salwat Ali Khan. Anjuman Hashimiya
and Anjuman Naqvia will be participating in the procession.
Giving this information, Anjuman spokesperson Syed Mohammad
Askari said that Alam Taboot Zuljanah Amari Bed Imam Zainul will be carried in
the Chehlum procession. Abidin and Jhula Hazrat Ali Asghar will also be taken
out for pilgrimage.
Blood donation camp to be organised on the occasion of
Chehlum of Imam Hussain: In the memory of Hazrat Imam Hussain, a blood donation
camp will be organised by Inqelabi Blood Donor Association and Naaz Blood Bank
on Tuesday from 11 am to 4 pm at Yadgare Hussaini Inter College located at Rani
Mandi Kotwali. Dr Vishwadeep Kesarwani, MD Amit Yadav, Dr Naaz Fatima, Dr
Jamshed Ali and the entire staff along with the team will be present to
encourage the blood donors. Captain Mohammad Mehdi, who has donated blood the
most number of times in Uttar Pradesh, will also honour the blood donors under
the supervision of Convener Shahid Askari and Manager Gauhar Kazmi.
Procession of seventy-two coffins on Friday, August 7: On
23rd Safar, Friday, August 7, from Imambara Jaddan Mir Saheb (Mojiznuma)
located in Dariyabad, under the patronage of Raza Hasnain Advocate, President,
Anjuman Khuddam-e-Mojiznuma and under the direction of Najeeb Allahabadi, the
historic procession of seventy-two coffins will be taken out in which along
with the famous and renowned associations of the city, associations from
outside cities will also participate in the painful scene of the burial of the
martyrs of Karbala.
