Prayagraj, August 02 (HS): Congress In-charge General

Secretary Rajendra Pal Gautam said that Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi

is leading a major nationwide movement through the Chhatron Ki

Goonj dialogue campaign, raising the concerns of millions of students and

young people while exposing the failures of what he described as the

corrupt Modi government.

Addressing Congress workers during a preparatory meeting of

Prayagraj Zone presidents at Shankar Lal Memorial Hall, Gautam said that

repeated paper leaks have jeopardized the future of the country's youth. He

stated that students spend years preparing for competitive examinations, but

corrupt Modi Government and administrative failures destroy the fruits of their

hard work. He emphasized that making Rahul Gandhi's nationwide campaign for the

protection of students' rights a success is the collective responsibility of

every Congress worker.

He further announced that on August 8, the Chhatron Ki Goonj

programme in Prayagraj will strongly raise the demand for transparency and

fairness in examinations. U P Congress Committee President Ajay Rai said that

the problems faced by educated youth and graduates are becoming increasingly

serious, adding that the unemployment rate has reached 16.2 percent.

AICC representative K. B. Baiju and National Secretary-in-Charge

Rajesh Tiwari reviewed the preparations for the programme and sought updates

from party office-bearers. Former MLA Anugrah Narayan Singh delivered the vote

of thanks. Allahabad MP Ujjwal Raman Singh, City Congress President Fuzail

Hashmi, former MLA Vijay Prakash, Manish Mishra, District Congress Presidents

duo Ashok Patel and Ashfaq Ahmad, Sudhakar Tiwari, Harikesh Tripathi, Anil

Yadav, Mukund Tiwari, Youth Congress President Vishal Singh, and NSUI President

Rishabh Pandey among others also addressed. The proceedings were conducted by

former Congress Spokesman Kishore Varshney.
