Imphal, 02 Aug. (HS): Security forces arrested an active cadre of the NSCN (K) along NH-37 under Kaimai Police Station in Manipur on August 1.

The arrested individual has been identified as Lungthaukhon Panmei (32), a resident of Oinamlong village in Tamenglong district.

During the operation, security forces seized one Baofeng handset, 13 receipt memos bearing the name of the Government of the Republic of Nagaland, seven sealed tokens carrying the same name, and cash amounting to ₹2,800.

Further investigation is underway.
