Lucknow, August 02 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister
Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Sunday that this assembly session is very
important, and that it will include legislative work as well as supplementary
work. Speaking to reporters, the Deputy Chief Minister said, We only ask
the opposition to bring their issues to the House. The government is ready to
respond. We appeal for a fruitful discussion and no waste of time.
Keshav Prasad Maurya said that all members of the
Legislative Assembly look forward to the session. The people of the state also
look forward to it. This session is meant to make the lives of the people of
the state happier.
He said that Rahul Gandhi and those associated with the Indi
alliance, especially the Samajwadi Party, are opposed to women's reservations.
They have used the student movement as a pretext to target the ruling party. MP
Pappu Yadav has committed a despicable act. No one can tolerate the insult of
saints and Ram devotees. The actions of Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi
and the party presidents Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav and members of the
family whose hands are stained with the blood of Ram devotees, in supporting
this humiliating incident, are hurtful to society. The opposition will have to
pay a heavy price for this.
