Lucknow, August 02 (HS): During the monsoon session of the

Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the government will be cornered on the

issues of unemployment and corruption among the state's youth, demanding

answers. The issue of expressways built in the state and electricity rates will

also be raised prominently. The temple offerings issue will also be included in

the House proceedings. Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Chief

Minister Akhilesh Yadav stated this while addressing the media at the party

headquarters in the capital, Lucknow, ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative

Assembly session on Sunday.

He said that the four-day monsoon session of the Uttar

Pradesh Legislative Assembly is merely a formality for the Bharatiya Janata

Party (BJP) government. They know they will never return to power, so they are

downplaying the importance of the Assembly session. The SP president said he had targeted the Bharatiya Janata

Party (BJP) over the leaks of exams. He alleged that Uttar Pradesh, along with

the NEET exam, had the highest number of paper leaks, which had demoralized

youth and candidates.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav further stated that the state

government's intentions regarding Jauhar University have been wrong from day

one. They want to hammer the university. Releasing the PDA (Backward, Dalit, and

Minority) Audit-4 report, he claimed that the BJP government in the state has

closed 26,000 schools in 10 years. Akhilesh said that if adding ethanol to

petroleum products is so profitable, then at least automobile companies should

say so and run advertisements about it.
